ABOUT NAUTI-NAUTI

Remember when the Doobie Brothers told you to listen to the music? Or when Christopher Cross promised to ride like the wind? What about when Linda Ronstadt told you you’re no good? Or when Hall and Oates begged you to look into their private eyes?

The members of NAUTI-NAUTI do!

Boasting a four-decade résumé of local bands that include Robin Banks, Men of Our Times, Mr. Big Stuff, Can’t Touch This, Love & Thunder, Little Vito and the Torpedoes, sometimes i…, the Edge, Fresh Hot Fritters, the Mayvilles, Prime Time, Soul 2 Soul, ThunderHeart, the CarTunes, Lickity Split and so many more, NAUTI-NAUTI is putting the “Yacht Rock” in “Rock”ford.

We have set sail for the cool, crystal-blue ocean waters of the 1970s and the pre-MTV 1980s, breathing new life into some of the sweetest rock and pop tunes of the period – slickly produced, harmony-laden and instantly recognizable “earworms” that will transport any audience back to happier times of endless summers, 8-track players and transistor radios.

Our song list includes “Lido Shuffle,” “Baker Street,” “Lonesome Loser,” “Thunder Island,” “Brandy,” “Dancing in the Moonlight,” “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number,” “Devil Woman,” “Lotta Love,” “Smoke from A Distant Fire,” “Love Will Find A Way” and plenty more, along with dance-floor fillers and singalongs from Kenny Loggins, Fleetwood Mac, Carly Simon, the Atlanta Rhythm Section, Jackson Browne and others who defined a look, a sound and an era.

Kashmir – Chicago’s premier Zep Tribute

Kashmir was formed in late 2001, after guitarist Frank Livingston decided to form a show based on substance and feel rather than just “fitting the suit”.

“It is important to look the part, but way too often tribute bands seem to forget that without the sound, the look does nothing”.

KASHMIR is a very entertaining show bringing only the best of LED ZEPPELIN to their fans.  KASHMIR seeks to re-create the experience of a 70’s Zeppelin show utilizing authentic vintage stage gear, costumes, and special effects, with great attention to detail in a non pretentious way.

But most importantly, KASHMIR does not take liberties on improving the music. Led Zeppelin should be played as it was using only the equipment of the era, and should be reproduced dead on with great respect and admiration. “It’s not about us, it’s about Led Zeppelin”.

KASHMIR performs Led Zeppelin’s entire catalog including Led’s Zeppelin’s classic movie,

The Song Remains The Same.

Current Projects:

Sound System Upgrade. It’s fantastic!!

We have upgraded the sound system for our shows. We acquired a state of the art digital system to enhance the experience at the bandshell.

This is a unique opportunity for a sponsor(s) to  have the naming rights for the sound system for a period of time to be discussed. Each performance, each notice sent out, each program guide, and each social media posting will include the named sound system for the sponsor.

This is a projected $25K expenditure that will give us and the sponsor a long term benefit.

Please contact us directly when you are interested.
